Growing up in the 70's Foghat was among my favorites of rock's heavy hitters. Although their first live album back then was just a scant 6 songs I have long awaited that one day they would release another volume and this one does not disappoint the true Foghat fan. Lonesome Dave's voice like many other rockers has mellowed somewhat over the years but he gives his best and sounds great. Rod's work on slide guitar remains some of the best in rock history, both Dave and Rod far underrated as truly great guitar players.Never got the chance to catch them live but this collection is the next best thing, these guys "still have (had) it". Hopefully the "Angel of Mercy" has treated them well, God rest their souls and thank you for your great contributions to the world of rock n roll.
